A symposium with a number of prominent international speakers will take place between February 7 and 8, 2011, in Uppsala, Sweden. The symposium is organized by Uppsala University, Faculty of Pharmacy in collaboration with the Swedish Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the European Federation for Pharmaceutical Sciences (EUFEPS) and European University Consortium for Pharmaceutical Research (ULLA). The symposium has been designed to fill a gap in the field of pharmaceutical research, providing a forum where participants with an interest in drug research and with a background in either proteins, peptides or small molecules, can meet and discuss new findings, methodologies and strategies. Invited top speakers will provide details on the scientific state of the art and provide directions for future work. The venue will be in the Grand Auditorium in Uppsala University main building.
The symposium will start 10:00 February 7 and end in the late afternoon of February 8.
The symposium is open to anyone interested in the research area and is free of charge. Registration via this homepage is required for participation.
Participants will have to organize their own meals and accommodation. Lists of restaurants and hotels can be found at this site.
